Hobart Brothers Company Unveils New Logo, Consolidates Filler Metal Brands
TROY, Ohio. May 30, 2013 — Hobart Brothers Company has unveiled a new logo for its Hobart® brand of filler metals (see below). The decision to redesign the logo coincides with the strategic consolidation of the company’s five brands of filler metals — Hobart, McKay®, Tri-Mark®, Corex® and MAXAL® — under the single Hobart brand.
“While all of our brands are well respected in the markets they serve, the Hobart brand has long been recognized in the industry as a leader in filler metals,” says Rich Thompson, vice president, marketing, ITW Welding. “Building this brand is a means to provide our end users with a competitive advantage. When they see the Hobart brand, they can be assured they have the right products to optimize their welding processes.”
The Hobart brand of filler metals includes a full product line of tubular wires (metal-cored and flux-cored), solid wires and stick electrodes for welding carbon and low alloy steels, stainless steels and aluminum, as well as options for hardfacing.
